The main tasks of our process engineering are the process design and development services for process plants of our customers operating refineries, tank storage terminals and logistics, chemical and petrochemical plants as well as environmental technology applications.
For the use of own or third-party technologies, VTA carries out the basic and detail engineering. In basic engineering we frequently implement the results of our previous studies. In addition to the planning of new plants, projects in existing plants are often carried out and also the integration of projects in revision shut downs (turnarounds) are planned and implemented. The use of state-of-the-art software and design tools is a matter of course for us.
An important component of our services are systematic hazardous analyzes for plant safety and environmental considerations. Our certified senior process engineers act as leaders for systematic hazard analyzes according to the procedures of PAAG, HAZOP and LOPA.
In the field of permitting management, we undertake the complete planning and documentation for authority permit applications according to the German BImSchG legislation as well as the preparation of explosion protection documentations.
VTA own in-house technologies and maintains an own process development and keeps various patents such as the continuous pyrolysis in a rotary kiln process.
